David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American anchor, journalist and reporter. Most well-known is for his show World News Tonight. With animated animations and funny videos of celebrities' news, the show is now America's top-rated newscast. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning program. He was his predecessor Diane Sawyer's anchor of choice before he took over ABC World News Tonight. Since then, he has covered many ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. His journeys have brought him to every regions of the globe including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and more. He has been awarded multiple Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Honors and awards from Associated Press.
